Saen holds several specialists seats on Euronext·Liffe and Eurex. Both exchanges introduced market specialists in an attempt to realize "full screens". These PMMs (Primary Market Maker) and CMMs (Competitive Market Maker) are obliged to constantly give bids and offers to allow the market participants to be able to trade on a reasonable size and spread. Euronext·Liffe succeeded in this, as even the long term options are quoted with a 20 cent spread for 30 lots on bid and offer side. Market participants can easily access the market and trade with full liquidity.
