Saen has been working closely with an ISV (Independent Software Vendor) for the past 10 years. This company, AtomPro, developed a risk management tool for floor trading in the mid 90s. AtomPro has been widely known for its pricing modeling expertise for more than a decade. Throughout the years they have been able to adjust their focus from floor based products to screen based software. The close cooperation with Saen Options enabled AtomPro to develop stable and sophisticated trading software. Because of the changing markets and quick developments AtomPro and Saen merged in 2006 to combine their forces. The two development departments are now developing proprietary trading software for Saen. Linking the expertise and software components enables us to trade with state of the art trading technology. Because of our joined expertise in creating trading software, our engineers now have more opportunities to concentrate on new features. Technology is crucial in contemporary trading markets. Developers within Saen are immediately involved in the application of their developments in the production environment. Being a software developer in a trading environment and working closely with the various trading departments presents a fascinating challenge.
